Six-year-old Xinjiang girl promotes hometown in video
“Who is Ban Chao?” six-year-old Saibihai asks her mother when they are recording a short video at Ban Chao Park in her home city of Kashgar, Xinjiang. Ban Chao was a diplomat from the Eastern Han Dynasty (25-220) who opened up the ancient Silk Road. The first-grader wants to introduce her hometown to more people and help attract more tourists to the city through making short videos about it.
